3 Things you Must do to Prevent Weak Eyesight

Vision is one of the most precious gifts of god we can cherish. And we really make use of this blessing all the time. Losing your eyesight can be a nightmare. But as a matter of fact, weak eye sight is a common heard complain from people of all age groups. If given proper attention, weak eyesight can be prevented in most cases.  Here are few tips to prevent weak eyesight and ensure a perfect vision.

Improving your Daily Routines:

  • Do not focus your eyes on a fixed point for constant 5 minutes as the nerves of your eyes would get tired, blurred, and tensed.
  • While working on computer or a laptop, keep the display screen at an appropriate distance(preferably 2 ft.) from your eyes.
  • Try consuming more sleep hours as it helps your eye muscles to relax and relieve stress.
  • Splash your eye with fresh water, whenever you’re tired. Besides, Drink plenty of water as it keeps you hydrated and helps you maintain a clear vision.

Improve your Nutrition:

Nutrients help a lot in maintaining a clear vision. Try improving your nutrition in order to improve your vision. Egg yolks and leafy green vegetables have been found out to be highly beneficial for the overall health of eyes. Moreover, Carrots juice adds a lot in curing weak eyesight due to the presence of beta-carotene present in it. To add more, 5-7 almonds every day can be a great booster for the health of your eyes.

Perform Eye Workouts:

Simple eye workouts can be highly beneficial to relieve stress from the nerves of your eyes.

Exercise 1:

Hold a pen in your hand at your arm distance and focus on it. Now bring the pen near to your eyes slowly and stop it before your nose. Now again move it far from your eyes till the distance you can’t focus on it. Repeat this exercise 5 – 7 times a day.

Exercise 2:

Roll your eyes in a clockwise direction and blink for 10 seconds. Now roll your eyes in anti-clockwise direction for the same time. Repeat this exercise 5 – 7 times a day.
